In this lesson we will learn the two content question words dealing with numbers, 几 jǐ and 多少 duōshǎo, both meaning how many/much . Both words are interrogative pronouns.

Nà tiáo lù shàng dàgài yǒu wǔ jiā dàshāngchǎng.
There are about 5 large department stores on that street.
